Hello, Would it be possible that the new street search will be directly supported by mkgmap without uploading the map using Mapsource to the GPS device (nüvi)?
It is actually possible to create a multi-layer gmapsupp.img (SRTM data + OSM + some thematic layer) and make the street search working on the GPS device? In other words: does Mapsource support multilayer gmapsupp.img? Where is the street index stored on the device after uploading the map using Mapsource? Thank you for some info!
