My previous gpsr was a Venture HC, so I can't say anything about the routing differences. And since I only bought it yesterday I still have much to discover about the new unit. The buttons are the same, the basic interface feels familiar, but obviously the details are different. If you have any specific question or situations to test, I can always give it a try. One *big* difference (not related to maps though) is that the GPS and GLONASS reception is the best I have seen so far. Even inside my house I get a fix.
