Yes I've had similar issues in the past. I think I remember Steve saying in some distant discussion that it is unknown behaviour the order Basecamp and Mapsource display lines, so overlaying one line on top of another is particularly difficult; and I tend to use an overlay map now if I need to show one way arrows etc.

I've attached a type file I use that may give extra usable codes for you in the future as I know most of these work fine in Mapsource/Basecamp. I have never tested cable car/chair lift but most others work fine.

It could be that bitmaps need to use certain codes and normal lines use others. It also doesn't help that Mapsource/Basecamp cache the tiles and there appears to be no easy way to clear them. So sometimes you have to zoom in/out to a level not looked at before to see the changes take effect after updating a TYP file.

Subject: [mkgmap-dev] line types not showing in basecamp

I have found that line types 35 and 17 do not show in Basecamp (the lines
show if I change the line type) others say that they do is there a list of
types which do not show in Basecamp ?
