Hi Gerd, I've successfully got mkgmap:add-to-index='no' working for excluding roads names from the address index, but I have realised that the POIs I want to exclude are not in the index anyway, as the MdrUtils .canBeIndexed function is returning false for them. I assume therefore that it is not possible to hide POIs from the Find Points of Interest list, unless you have any other suggestions.

AFAIK we can easily add a new tag like mkgmap:add-to-index=no which tells mkgmap which map objects are not be placed in the index. I am not so sure about the effect. If I got it right, the device might still show the POIs in the lists, but without index that might be slower.
