I use TYPViewer to do the conversion. v4.5.35

if I convert the .typ file to a .txt file, it produces a different map, if I
then convert that .txt file to a .typ file, the map produced is correct.

How can I spot any errors the conversion produces ? I have written software in
C# that validates the .txt file it it finds no errors.

But I can't find any documentation on the format of the .typ file so I can
check the contents of match.

Most likely: your *.txt file is not in sync with your *typ file
or contains errors. After creating the *.txt file from my *.typ file,
I had to fix a lot of mistakes in it.
