Hi, Carlos is right for the default style. If you use a very different style, make sure that mkgmap:country contains the 3 letter iso code for the country. See also the file LocatorConfig.xml. I'll try to make that clearer in the coments in roadNameConfig.txt.

You don't have to tell mkgmap what language, but what country.
