Some user of my maps has reported that his unit doesn't read mkgmap
maps. He asked Garmin service and they told device is blocked from
fabric, so that it only accepts genuine Garmin maps. It seems to be a
different problem than the unicode related one recently reported, as I
don't use unicode. Do you know something about that limitation? Is there
a way circumvent it?
