I am exactly the same, which is the same reason I would not want to take the
helm. :/  I have already bared my teeth toward those whose ideas went beyond my
views of the setting... that's not good behavior to express if one wishes to
bring in new talent and new ideas.

I concur.  Though I wish no ill to befall Christian, and hope that
he

is able to continue in his role indefinitely, I can think of few

people who could step up to the plate with as much authority as you

would bring to the position; that said, I think we would also
respect

your wishes if you truly did not want the task, and I'd hate to
think

we pressured you against your will.

Again, may such an action never be required, though!

I suppose I should explain why I would be reluctant to be the MK universe
controller.  I have very definite ideas on what I want MK to be and
what I don't want it to be.  Not everybody else who wants to write
in MK shares my views.  I did not want to restrict MK in a way that
would shut other writers out.

That's where I come from.  But if asked I will lead and do my best
not to be too restrictive in that regard.  But as Tatsushu said,
let's hope it is never required!!

May He bless you and keep you in His grace and love,

Charles Matthias
