I tend to agree that crossovers present problems. I think non-canon stories about crossovers are fun, and having characters in both are fine. I could potentially see characters loosely linked with another story universe, but it should never be explicit. E.g. someone shows up and keeps talking about the strange place they've landed in, but never explicitly mentions that they are Joe Bob X from the Zipper Universe; it could be a fun character, but one needs to be careful. Still, having MK characters head to other universes as non-canonical to the MK universe could be enjoyable, and I see no reason not to let it happen. Treat the MK characters as actors, as it were--whether they break character "off-set" or not is up to them (and their authors), but "on-set" they shouldn't really be bringing in anything from outside. Okay, back to lurking in the shadows again. -Tatsushu !DSPAM:4e150d85187062129214278! _______________________________________________ MKGuild mailing list [email protected] http://lists.integral.org/listinfo/mkguild
