I think this has definitely been said. But in no way should the curses be apart of his emblem, Nasoj had been around for a long time before the curses and nothing says "Don't Take Me Seriously As A Threat" than an emblem that just screams "Just remember, we're the army that gets beaten by Women and Children on a regular basis."
