Too many - the scene would get massively overcrowded rather quickly.
Better: Thomas, Artela, & their children (perhaps). Any others involved with
such scene should be courtiers or direct ducal counselors (Thalberg, Maria,
ect) or the work should be more a portrait of the ducal line.
Personally more than six to eight would get unweildy in the relatively limited
canvas size we'll be requesting.
As for myself as I scrape together the funds and line up an artist:
Muri, Kozaithy, Rickkter, Kayla, & Jessica (Mage coterie)
Malger, Misanthe, and their children (Sutt family portrait in classical noble
style).
