As I have intended from the beginning to put some money toward this if
we want to increase our payment to her I will gladly add to that which

Everyone should take the time to send Ermine a personal email thanking

for all of the extra effort she put into this. Her email is

Also, we were very unprofessional towards Ermine at a few points in this
process. Yes, this is a group effort and we did a great job raising the
money and all, but when it came to settling on details and asking for
changes we really pushed Ermine far beyond what she had expected for the
price we paid. Asking for the extra background details at the end
upset her
and we should have known better. I blame myself for misunderstanding her
email (Ermine was really asking if people's clothing colors were
right, or
anything small that could be easily changed, not more background
stuff), but
seriously, we need to get our act together before we try to get another
group picture going.
And by getting our act together I mean we actually agree on details
for both
characters, scene, and background up front. This nonsense where
people toss
out ideas after the picture is already done will not happen again. I
would
love to commission Ermine again as she does fantastic work. And if
you do
too you had best send her a personal email and thank her for going not
just
one extra mile but three for us.
But, we have our first picture now so please everyone savor it!
