Well, I just wanted to lead into your story. I certainly wasn't going to rehash any bit of Divine Travails like that. ;-)

And as for "Hound", I chose to use that instead of "Beast" specifically because Jerome thinks it refers to himself. And "Hound" has a certain ring to it I like so of course a storyteller will use it for poetic effect. :-)

My only concern is the timing... you meant for Charles to show up at Metamor the morning of the 21st right?

May He bless you and keep you in His grace and love,

Charles Matthias

Mind? The only thing I mind is that you ended it too soon.

(Oh, and he's not a hound. Beast of Revonos is his most common moniker after his name, but War Wolf of Revonos and Blood Wolf of Revonos work, too.)

Charles breathed a happy sigh and lifted his empty cup. "Then let us all share something more to drink and I will begin. Come my friends, listen and I will tell you of the Hound of Revonos!"

This story directly precedes Hallan's recent story Homecoming in case you hadn't figured it out! I hope the dear lion does not mind. :-)
