Department of Electronics and Information at Politecnico di Milano
Post-doc position in Computer Science/Engineering

The Department of Electronics and Information is actively looking for
applications from international scholars for a funded post-doc position.

The position is funded yearly for a maximum of 2 years, and the grant is
18797.54 EUR/year. The requirement for the position is to hold a PhD
degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent, from a
research institution, earned not earlier than three years ago.

We are striving to increase the number of international students and of
students from other universities in Italy, so external applications are
particularly welcome. Applications received before September 8th 2008
will be considered, and an answer is expected not later than September 20th.

The Department of Electronics and Information at Politecnico di Milano
has a strong Computer Science and Engineering research area. Research
areas and research groups are described in the DEI web site at
http://www.dei.polimi.it/index.php?&idlang=eng

The selected applicant will be free to choose any research group inside
the DEI to work with.

The Dependability group (researching topics in performance evaluation,
dependability and security) welcomes informal submissions of curricula
for evaluation, along with a statement of research interests and
motivations, to be submitted to the attention of Stefano Zanero
