Io uso MacPorts e devo dire che funzionano meglio di tanti pkg manager
piu anziani di varie distribuzioni linux. Come progetto, lo considero
piu affidabile da darwin ports.
Da un piccolo search ecco le socks che ci sono nei ports pronte x
essere compilate:
Angel:~ atma$ sudo port search sock
Password:
[...]
dsocks net/dsocks 1.6 SOCKS
client wrapper for *BSD / Mac OS X
socket net/socket 1.4 an
interface to TCP sockets at shell level
[...]
Credo che dsock sia la scelta piu ovvia (dugson http://monkey.org/~dugsong/dsocks/

se non sbaglio freecap e' un client socks per windows,
sotto unix uno dei client socks piu' usati si chiama dante,
quindi:
