Follow-up Comment #4, bug #10862 (project mldonkey):
in the GTK1 GUIs (new, gui, old) there is a "bad implementation".
Sometimes you have hidden fields for a search type where you can put format,
extension ....
The problem is that the GTK1 GUIs don't ignore those fields even when hidden
and even allocate a default value to those fields.
The default value is of course given by the file searches.ini
For example, if you choose movie type search, you have 3 hidden fields:
- MINSIZE: default value = 500000000
- MEDIA: default value = Video
- FORMAT: default value = avi
so you search will never return *.ogm files
This does not exist in the GTK2 GUI. The hidden fields are ignored, thus not
sent to the core, until you decide to use them.
That's not a bug. Just a misused of searches.ini
