What kind of CPU do you exactly have? Please test:
FEATURES="-sandbox" emerge mldonkey
Does the core work despite that warning? I saw this message only
in connection with AMD 64bit CPUs.
On Gentoo configure prints this:
checking whether pthreads work with -pthread... yes
checking for joinable pthread attribute... PTHREAD_CREATE_JOINABLE
I did not use any special configure options, so please show us the
output of the "buildinfo" command inside MLDonkey.
Also try: ps -auxH | grep mlnet
You have USE="nptl nptlonly", don�t you?
