Follow-up Comment #12, bug #9213 (project mldonkey):
Tried 2.7.1 + this patch. # and & are ok, but:
" causes an error: 'Bad number of arguments'
\ acts as an escape char (has to be doubled)
+ inserts space (however, %2b inserts +)
% is not escaped
