Follow-up Comment #7, bug #14540 (project mldonkey): Because the EDK network is designed to distribute few, but large files. That means for example an album of an artist which gives his/her music away for free is distributed as one *.zip file and not as 15+ *.mp3 files.
Most people don“t share many files. I share only < 20 special files for which I am the only source on the net. EDK servers do have limits for how many shares a client might send to the server: http://mldonkey.berlios.de/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=3949 Thats the reason only a few users (you were not the only one) complained about it. But you were the first one reporting success with Pangos patch so I will include it in the next release of MLDonkey. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?func=detailitem&item_id=14540> _______________________________________________ Nachricht geschickt von/durch Savannah http://savannah.nongnu.org/ _______________________________________________ Mldonkey-bugs mailing list [email protected] http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/mldonkey-bugs
