Follow-up Comment #14, bug #17933 (project mldonkey):
config_files_space.tmp is a normal file and stays behind when the core
crashes.
You could also try to re-compile MLDonkey with
./configure --enable-minimum (maybe --enable-bittorrent)
to rule out disturbances by non-required features.
