Follow-up Comment #1:
mlguistarter must be started with the GUI binary to be started as parameter:
./mlguistarter /path/to/mlgui/mlgui
See sourcecode: src/gtk2/gui/guiStarter.ml
ignore (Sys.command (Printf.sprintf "%s &" Sys.argv.(1)));
The full path to the GUI binary is needed because mlguistarter
executes common modules which change cwd to the same dir mlnet
uses.
