Follow-up Comment #5, bug #22315 (project mldonkey): "Why should I?"
Because MLDonkey prints it onto your screen: 2008/09/03 13:13:24 [cO] Logging in .mlnet.log "The program starts, prints something and seems to do nothing, without even a hint for the user to control it... Is that a good UI?" With MLDonkey UI and core/p2p functions are seperated. When you start MLDonkey you start the core/p2p-stuff and you can use Telnet or HTML to interface with MLDonkey. An eMule-style UI is not build-into MLDonkey, thats the way its designed. A "normal windows-style" GUI is Sancho, for example: http://sancho-gui.sf.net "If You don't care about non-technical users and the size of mld userbase - I am sorry to waste your and my time..." MLDonkey is open-source, if you don´t like it, don´t use it. If you want to improve it, send useful proposals and keep your rants for yourself, thank you. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?22315> _______________________________________________ Nachricht geschickt von/durch Savannah http://savannah.nongnu.org/ _______________________________________________ Mldonkey-bugs mailing list [email protected] http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/mldonkey-bugs
