Follow-up Comment #1, patch #5191 (project mldonkey):
why don`t remove the sysinfo output completely and replace it with the
version string (and if available the scm string)?
mosts progs response after startup with "Welcome to MyName v1.23.45" thats
the most (and at this point only) interested info users want to know, what
for an version of app they have started.
