Hello MLpack, I am Parminder Singh, currently in 2nd year and studying B. Tech Computer Science and Engineering. I have experience of working with Deep Learning library Tensorflow, primarily used it for making projects for datasets on Kaggle. I am very interested in this field and continuously trying to make myself better at understanding the concepts and mathematics that runs these algorithms.
Reinforced Learning project in the GSoC Ideas Page interested me the most as I am willing to learn Q-learning algorithms myself. I have slight introduction of the OpenAI's gym interface in python but I'll translate my experience to C++ while working. Another great thing about working with mlpack is that I'll be able to learn the optimizations that are done under the hood which will count up for better learning! Till now I have loved the installation documentation and responsiveness of developers :D I went through the mailing list and will start implementing an agent using the gym tcp interface tool and mlpack for the starter project.
