My name is Ardhendu Tripathi. I am pursuing a master's degree in machine learning at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden. I went through all the project descriptions and the topic "Low rank optimization using Frank-Wofle" seems quite interesting to me. In the past I have worked on some optimization problems both as part of my coursework and as part of my research. I think this would be a good way to spend the summer. I would start by getting comfortable with the mlpack API and reading the suggested literature. Any suggestions on how to get going would be welcome. Also in the derivable section of the description what does "The implementation should be general enough that we can recovery OMP by simply setting a few template parameters." mean?
