By the way, I looked at the archives and found that numerous people(with more experience and more github contribution than me and also those experience with previous GSoC) have already submitted proposals for the same idea. Do you think it is a good idea for me to still pursue this topic or do you suggest me to take a look at alternate projects? Because I am not sure what would get my proposal accepted against theirs( I do understand the ANN codebase of mlpack though, so my porposal can be tailor according to the mlpack API).
