Hi. There currently is a bug with the "aspect" property of the avformat consumer. Bug can be reproduced with this simple command:
melt color:red out=50 -consumer avformat:test.mp4 aspect=1.8 The first 2-4 frames of the rendered clip have a wrong aspect ratio, the end of the clip is correct. Looks like the first frames are not created with correct info. Using a profile with the aspect ratio defined in it works correctly, the bug only appears when setting ration through the "aspect" consumer property. This causes problems in Kdenlive for proxy clips. I tried to look at the avformat consumer code but didn't find the problem, so I will leave it up to you..
