An Arch Linux dev requested a new release, and since MacPorts updated
ffmpeg to 1.2 a while ago, MLT 0.8.8 fails to build against it. So, I
am planning to release v0.9.0 perhaps as early as Sunday. Between now
and then, I am also going to merge a non-public branch where I have
added the long-awaited full-on property animation API. However, I am
only plan to make the GLSL filters and transitions use it in this
release to reduce the impact of this change. This is mainly new API,
and the new set of unit tests helps to prevent regression for the
minimal changes that could have affected it. Thank you for reading
this.
