Hi, not sure if this is the right place but I noticed something odd... I got myself a new machine, explicitly for video. Core i7-4770K, 3.5GHz, 32GB RAM, SSD, Geforce GTX 770. I installed it yesterday with kubuntu 14.04 - first time Ubuntu after 18+ years on SuSE...
Now I'm rendering my first video (1080p/50 GoPro footage with a few filters via libx264) with KDEnLIVE on the new machine and I see MLT use just 3 cores and only between 35 and 40% of the resources. I did specify 7 threads in the KDEnLIVE render window... Is there any way to tell mlt to make full use of the machine? Maybe even use the GPU via OpenCL? -S -- (o_ Stefan Gofferje | SCLT, MCP, CCSA //\ Reg'd Linux User #247167 | VCP #2263 V_/_ Heckler & Koch - the original point and click interface ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Want fast and easy access to all the code in your enterprise?
