The video editor who was supposed to be helping me in this regard disappeared
about a week ago and I have been left stranded :)

I was able to use Kdenlive to produce a basic EDL for the intro, outro, and
background, then figured out the watermarks for graphical frames and video
talking heads by reading the samples on the MltXml page and other docs online.

I am completely inexperienced with video editing software in general and don’t
really know even how to set up multiple audio tracks or text overlays. Doing it
manually in KdenLive is my fallback plan if I can’t find someone else who can
solve it faster (with compensation for their time, as mentioned). I’m just
hoping to save many hours of fighting software that I am clueless in because of
the tightness of the deadline.
