Hi, I am quite new to MLT; please accept my apologies if what I am asking is nonsensical...
I have 2 videos, both 1 minute long. I would like to do the following: whenever the video_1 has a "transparent" frame, I would like the resulting video to have the corresponding frame (time-wise) in video_2. So, if video_1 starts with 5 seconds of transparency, then 30 seconds of proper video, and then 3 seconds of transparency, I would like the result video to have: * 5 seconds of video_2 * 30 seconds of video_1 * 3 seconds of video_2 Is this possible with MLT? The ideai s that there is an interview track, and we would like to somehow "merge" them intelligently, some parts of track 1, and some parts of track 2. Maybe my idea of "transparent spots" is not very functional... how would you go about having 2 video channels, and switching from one to the other? Thank you, Merc.
