You need to use the melt wrapper script in the Shotcut.app directory which sets
up the proper library paths:
$ xvfb-run -a /app/Shotcut/Shotcut.app/melt
Without the wrapper script, the executable doesn't know where to look for the
libraries.

Subject: [Mlt-devel] melt and qmelt binaries from Shotcut can't find plugins
Hi, trying to run melt or qmelt binaries from Shotcut on a heroku machine i get
this message:
$ xvfb-run -a /app/Shotcut/Shotcut.app/bin/qmeltmlt_repository_init: no plugins
found in
"/root/BuildAgent/work/ef55b932ce3c3e94/shotcut/Shotcut/Shotcut.app/lib/mlt"
And after that the qmelt help message.
Why is it trying to load the plugin from such location?
Thanks!
