thanks Dan, the wowza stream is working over here as well! So now I know at
least melt should be able to work with an rtmp stream. Now I have this
wowza stream restreamed to my red5 server, and again melt fails to get it.
So apparently the output of red5 has something which melt doesn't like.
When I compare the verbose info from red5 and wowza showed by melt, there
is quite some difference in meta data. Specially "duration" and "filesize"
worries me, they are both set to 0.00 when using red5. So my question is,
do you know if this meta data is actually being used by melt? And if so,
which module/file does extract it from the metadata? Maybe I can filter it
out for testing.
By the way, I do only use my streaming server for a short time while
testing, so it is not suprising you cannot play it with ffplay.
