Yes, but it is stalled by trying to figure out a solution for Flowblade
with the new SDL2 consumer. It appears apps - at least GTK - are having
trouble embedding it.
If we make it possible to build consumers for both SDL 1.2 and 2.0 or make
configure options to choose 1.2 over 2.0, I wonder how many distros will
actually build against 1.2.
