Instructions to unsubscribe from this list at the end of the message - --------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello,
I've (finally) managed to connect to the internet with my Alcatel Home Modem! haleluliah! I've discovered that, to connect, I must disable ICS (Internet Connection Sharing). From the Mandrake control panel I disable ICS and the internet works. The problem is that I have to stay disabling ICS each time I start Linux - or the internet won't work. I've tried telling dhcp and named to not load on boot, but I still have to disable ICS to use the internet. How can I permanently disable ICS from launching on boot?
