Hi list,

Thanks for your previous replies. I'm trying to stick with the tools
provided with mandrake 9.1 itself.I've installed and run webmin, and
have decided to start with the simplest configuration - apache
webserver. Already, I've run into trouble...

When I click on the Apache icon in webmin, it says it could not find the
apache executable. Now, apache is there (when I put web docs in
/var/www/html they're shown on the net), but the config files and the
apache executable seem to be in different directories and I can't find
the executable.I've tried doing whereis httpd and I get /etc/httpd/ -
but there's nothing there except the config files.

Can anyone help me as to where Mandrake have placed the executable?

Thanks,

Keith
