HI, My tribulations with 9.2 continue.... I've just discovered that my Zip drive (EIDE) doesn't work with supermount....My PC just trashed for a whole afternoon when I put a zip disk in.... the only problem is that I was doing a mandrake update of the system at the time to cure the disappearing menu items problem....
Opera still refuses to install ( works perfectly on 9.1 ) Lots of stuff which was installed in 9.1 is not installed on 9.2 even though I chose the same options during install.... What makes me mad is that all the stuff worked in 9.1... Why break a working system? I wonder if it's worth buying the discovery/power pack if I'm gonna end up with the same problems.... I was very happy with 9.1 as nearly all the stuff worked perfectly well... I'll keep you informed of my progress/regress.... Joseph
