Hi list, I managed to get hold of a USB pendrive and want to use it on Linux. I've successfully mounted /dev/sda1 to /mnt/cpqdsk (it's a compaq drive).
The problem is that only root can access the drive and read/write. I tried changing the permissions of /mnt/cpqdsk but they keep changing back to what they were. How can I access the drive as a non-root user? -- Keith Vassallo Registered Linux user #290991 http://wwww.keithvassallo.net
