Hi guys,
I recently got a tip from a fellow gamer of mine on how to decrease the
latency on the adsl line. This involves removing the additional error
checking over the telephone line. If you live very close to the nearest
exchange and the wiring is of good quality, you can safely remove the
error checking. I measured an improvement of around 80ms (from 120ms to
40ms) when pinging my home from work.

After they reply to you with an email to confirm the change, I reset my
modem and hey presto :-)
