Are there any solution out there to the MS 'offline files' facility?? To give an example:
I want to sync part of my ~/ directory on my laptop with /home/iain/laptop/ on my server. I know I can do a variety of scripts that will compare and copy selectively, run rsync also, but what I am thinking of is a method to copy when there is a connection and a file is modified. Something a bit more automated. Anyone run across this sort of thing?? Or is it going to be another job for perl?? Regs. Iain.
