Keith This is not an easy one! I assume you are using the Wizard in control centre. Who is your ISP? Also make sure your username is correct. For example mine is [EMAIL PROTECTED] and it is a PPTP setup that I have.
When I first started using Mandrake 9.1 I could only get the ADSL connection working if I ran the wizard during the installation. If I did it afterwards it simply did not work. Another thing is that if you are using the modem connected directly to the computer then make sure you do not have a gateway setup.
