Mario,

I'm with Bellnet, connected through an Alcatel Home Modem (old type) at
1024/768. I have some clients using XP, media center and Mandrake. What I would
like is to connect to the internet through the WRT54G and share the connection
to my LAN. While at it I'd use it as a firewall as well.

Rgds,
Keith

The WRT54G I have is mainly used as a router and wireless access point
in a larger network and we do not connect to the Internet with it. We
use it as a gateway and depending on were on the net we go it diverts
the traffic.

However if you give me some information, such as who is your ISP and the
type of connection you have plus some network info, I'll get on to PTL
and see if they can help us out. They are normally very helpful people.
I know they have setup quite a few of these things.

Mario,

I'm having some problems connecting to the internet with the WRT54G. How
are
you connecting to your ISP? Are you using PPTP or PPPoE?

Regards,
Keith
