Folks,
The time is upon is where we should (like all other LUGs) meet up in the
flesh and laugh at each other with pointed fingers and much guffawing.
Being a democratic organisation, perhaps we should shout out preferences
for the next social event. Quite simple: If you want to meet at the
Popeye Village, say so. If not, shout out something else. Either way,
throw your vote in, it all gets counted...even those for Norman Lowell.
Let's start with the easy part (what) and move to the less difficult
part (where). So the following are a few ideas to get started. Shout
your perference and we can tally up the votes. If there's nothing under
the list you fancy, drop in your own suggestion (that coffee shop you
went to in Amsterdam is not really an option we could all make though).
So to start:
1. Picnic at Chadwick lakes in the afternoon
2. Discovering the joys of the bless'd Beer some evening
3. Curry night and two toilet rolls cooling in the fridge
4. Protest in Mdina against 'living in the past'
Some to start. My vote is on 2. Lots of them. Gzzz.
