Subject: [Consencommunity] Code Sharing for the Public Sector
atwww.eGovForge.com

Code Sharing for the Public Sector at www.eGovForge.com
<http://www.egovforge.com/>

The Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SALAR)
http://www.skl.se/artikel.asp?C=756
<http://www.skl.se/artikel.asp?C=756&A=180> &A=180  has initiated a source
code sharing portal at www.eGovForge.com <http://www.egovforge.com/> This
is an equivalent to Source Forge but only for the public sector. At the
moment there is source code for only 6 applications and the repository is
temporary down. The national associations of Local Authorities in Sweden,
Finland, Norway and Denmark had a joint seminar 25.11.2005 about this new
possibility of cooperation. More information about this seminar can be found
at http://www.bios.fi/tiki/tiki-read_article.php?articleId=18

Sounds interesting? You can share your code only if your application is in
use in a local government and you have an IT company granting support for
the code.
