Hallo,

   Can anyone provide me with a script which will allow me to trash files from
the command line. I prefer to trash files rather than remove them, and want to
do something like

trash cgi2v0x1a.ap

rather than

rm -f cgi2v0x1a.ap

   The script should handle wild cards, directories, trashing of files with the
same name, and manage the trash folder, deleting old stuff to make way for new.
   I use Suse10.0 and KDE 3.4.2 Level "b". The trash folder is in
/home/graham/.local/share/Trash. The files are in subfolder files and there is
an info subfolder which allows items to be restored. For cgi2v0x1a.ap for
example, there is file cgi2v0x1a.ap.trashinfo which contains

[Trash Info]
Path=/home/graham/Desktop/Trash/cgi2v0x1a.ap
DeletionDate=2006-01-10T16:12:43

   I don't know how to change the amount of disk reserved for trash, so if
someone can tell me how to do that it would be good too.

Best regards, Graham Petley
