Hey all, Until recently my sound worked perfectly until I deleted my user profile (..I was experimenting) and created a new user. I've tried alsaconf, adding the new user to the group 'audio' and all possible volumes have been raised to 80%
When KDE starts up i still get: device: default can't be opened for capture (Device or resource busy) and absolutly no sound. My sound card is a Creative Labs Audigy2 Value. I get some errors whilst running alsaconf scion Cloud # alsaconf modinfo: could not find module snd modinfo: could not find module snd modinfo: could not find module snd Running modules-update... * Warning: the current /etc/modprobe.devfs has not been automatically generated * Use "modules-update force" to force (re)generation Loading driver... * Loading ALSA modules ... * Loading: snd-card-0 ...
