Dear Keith Pardon me for writing to you, I was going over the http://www.linux.org.mt site to see whom I should address this to, but was not sure. I was going over the mailing list on that site, and noticed you. Hope that is ok... I am a free lance (IT) journalist based in The Netherlands. I have been writing a lot on Open Source for Dutch IT magazines. Currently I am writing a number of items for a Eu project, the Open Source Observatory and Repository project, with a (still boring and slow) website http://ec.europa.eu/idabc/en/chapter/469 I am looking for someone in Malta who could help with that. That is, someone who could alert me every now and then on "important" new developments in the field of Open Source and its growing use by civil adminstrations in Malta .... I was hoping you or the team behind the Linux User Group maybe know somebody who could be interested? If so, could you maybe forward my message to him/her? Or send me his/her email address? Also, I found your message on IBM's Linux program on Malta. Is there anybody you know who knows more about this? I would like to see if I could write about it. Hoping to hear from you! Kind regards Gijs Hillenius +31 6 414 90805 www.hillenius.net -- Good government never depends upon laws, but upon the personal qualities of those who govern. The machinery of government is always subordinate to the will of those who administer that machinery. The most important element of government, therefore, is the method of choosing leaders. -- Frank Herbert, "Children of Dune" _______________________________________________ MLUG-list mailing list [email protected] http://mailserv.megabyte.net/mailman/listinfo/mlug-list
