I totally agree that we have to be more outspoken about the benefits
of going away from proprietary operating systems especially when its
costing us unnecessary grief and tax euros. The government knows this
and in fact has on its agenda to push the use of OSS inside its
schools. I was shocked ^H^H^H^H^H surprised when I read and heard
this. But I do believe that they have been receiving a bashing for
this for quite some time now. My understanding is that they need more
info on how to help themselves. The possibility is there. We can
either sit and wait or else do something about it.
