Interesting point, but does not change much, since according to the link you gave recipies as algorithims can be copyrighted (i.e. the complex sequence to create a michlen starred dish), (BTW what coca-cola can do is patent the process, but that's another issue)
So I need to find a better example or rephrase that sentence, as the point I'm making is that the coca-cola recipe is un-free (secret is unfree!) More importantly that there exist exceptions to every rule, but they are just that. Its in the paragraph further down that I wrongly claim that by re-creating a recipe you like you might be infringing copyright. Thanks for the heads up.
