Hi Alan, That would have come in useful during the voting of the OOXML however Malta's fate was already doomed since the local companies had already decided to go pro-OOXML. I know that generally accommodation is either handled via home-hosting or else cheap hostels. Travel for us maltese is usually an issue due to costs so it would make an interesting discussion. I know of 3 foreign hackers coming to Malta during a semantic web meeting which is being organized through the University of Malta. I guess their traveling has already been taken care of. They will be hacking on the Nepomuk services which provide semantic web integration to KDE4. I know for sure that there are a couple of foreign hackfests aka developer sprints as well as the good old conferences like the current Red Hat summit.
More information on the current events happening around us would surely help. -- Raphael On Fri, Jun 20, 2008 at 2:17 PM, Alan Muscat <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hi Guys, > > I'm afraid that I will not be able to make it tomorrow for the meeting as I > have been called in to fly to St. Petersburg(Leningrad) tonight.
